The Value of Sincerity in Marriage

The value of sincerity means open and genuine; not deceitful; earnestness.

Marriage Questions:

  • If you scored the strength of your marriage on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being low, 10 being high), how would it score? What would need to change to move that number up by 1?
  • What about you (yes, you!) do you think is most attractive to your spouse? What’s holding you back from letting that shine more often?
  • Visualize the best scenario of what your marriage could look like in 3-years. Have you shared this vision with your spouse?
  • Do you have something uncomfortable or uneasy you would like to say to your spouse, but are afraid it might come out all wrong? Instead of focusing on them, what would happen if you just shared how you are feeling?
  • What are some ways you can encourage your spouse (and enhance your relationship) that truly comes from your heart?

How can the value of sincerity help improve your marriage?

Today’s value was selected from the “Fairness-Respect” category, based on the e-book Developing Your Differentiating Values.
