The Value of Wealth in Marriage

The value of wealth means profuse abundance; prosperity and well-being; valuable material possessions.

Marriage Questions:

  • What are the top 3 most amazing blessings you and your spouse have ever received or experienced?
  • When, where, and how will you share your abundance with others?
  • What do others appreciate the most about you and your spouse?
  • What are you and your spouse holding back or storing up for a ‘rainy day’? Why?
  • In whose lives can you and your spouse make a difference in a way no other couple can?

Walking Your Wealth

If great leaders walk their talk, great marriages walk their wealth.  It’s what couples share and give away that defines the character of their relationship.

Some couples derive tremendous satisfaction from sharing what they have learned. Some couples enjoy giving their money and possessions away. Other couples find gratification in using their God-given gifts to help others.

The beneficiaries of your wealth include children and grandchildren; extended family members; your church family; friends; co-workers and neighbors, members of your community, and even complete strangers.

Bottom line: the best investment in your marriage is to share out of what you have been blessed.

A blessing shared is a blessing doubled.

How can the value of wealth help improve your marriage and the lives of others?

Today’s value was selected from the “Freedom-Prosperity” category, based on the e-book Developing Your Differentiating Values.
