Values Quotes – The Value of Abundance
Todays quote is from an anonymous source, though a little digging suggests it was a Canadian man who wrote this for a greeting card company back in the mid-1970s.
The quote is:
“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.”
There’s clearly a reason this saying has become so popular. It deals with the wonderful value of abundance.
As a differentiating value, Abundance means an overflowing fullness; or more than adequate quantity or supply.
Those that appreciate the truly important things in life – often the little things – understand this concept very well. When one is overflowing in healthy relationships, positive experiences, and those precious moments that just take your breath away, then you have an abundant life.
That feeling of rich abundance can happen when you experience the birth of your child, when the doctor says your cancer is gone, or when God answers your prayer.
It’s a gift. Given just for you.
All you have to do is recognize it and appreciate it. And the next one. And the next one. And so on….
So, may your life be filled with the kind of abundance that takes your breath away.
