The Value of Fearlessness in Marriage

The value of fearlessness means oblivious of dangers or perils or calmly resolute in facing them; audacious.

Marriage Questions:

  • Have you and your spouse addressed your fears by talking through them, together?
  • How are you instilling hope into your marriage that will conquer all barriers?
  • Do you demonstrate to your spouse your support through all circumstances?
  • What’s holding you and your spouse back from doing what God has called you to do, to go where no couple has gone before?

Fortifying with Fearlessness

Divorce statistics would suggest that entering into a marriage is fraught with danger and peril. Yet, millions continue to walk this path every year.

Is love blind? Thankfully, yes.  But this kind of love doesn’t last.

If you want to reach a significant milestone, such as a 25th or 50th wedding anniversary, but also desire to live a life filled with significance, then you would do well to prepare for it. You prepared for your wedding, why not prepare for your future together?

There is no need to be afraid. Instead, become fearless.

Here are 5 things you can do to fortify your marriage with fearlessness:

  • Embrace the power of passion and be excited about your marriage, all year long.
  • Build your faith in each other by developing intense trust and loyalty.
  • Create synergy and multiply your efforts by working together.
  • Be responsible and accountable for every decision.
  • Acknowledge that you are dependent upon God, and each other.

Remember the words of Jesus: “Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” [Mark 10:9] So, when you and your spouse encounter what appears to be a danger, don’t be afraid. Do not allow it or anyone to separate you. Be fearless, and prove together, you CAN face anything.

How can the value of fearlessness help improve your marriage and the lives of others?
